Republican Nevada attorney general candidate Adriana Guzmán Fralick supported policies that harmed everyday Nevadans and showed she would put Trump’s wishes over the needs of her constituents. Guzmán Fralick wanted to implement barriers to voting, including voter ID requirements and restrictions for mail-in voting. Guzmán Fralick also opposed the Affordable Care Act and wanted to sue the Obama administration over its passing in 2010. Guzmán Fralick also condoned Trump’s federal immigration tactics that killed two Americans in Minnesota, and pledged to “stop suing” Trump as attorney general.
Message: Guzmán Fralick supported changes to Nevada’s election systems that threatened Nevadans’ voter access and sowed distrust in elections.
- In 2010, as general counsel to Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons, Guzmán Fralick called for Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto to join 14 other states’ attorneys general in suing the Obama administration to overturn the Affordable Care Act. Guzmán Fralick said she thought the arguments against the Affordable Care Act were “sufficient to give basis for a lawsuit” and was not “frivolous.” More than 104,000 Nevadans were enrolled in Affordable Care Act marketplace plans in 2026.
- In 2026, Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” made drastic changes to the Affordable Care Act to fund tax cuts for the wealthy, including allowing premium tax credit subsidies to expire which was expected to cause 4.2 million enrollees to become uninsured. It also made changes that would increase out-of-pocket expenses, make it more difficult for enrollees to remain eligible, and cost states more than $7 million to implement. More than 110,000 were expected to lose health insurance by 2034 due to the bill.
Message: Guzmán Fralick supported ripping health care away from hundreds of thousands of Nevadans to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.
Message: Guzmán Fralick defended Trump’s federal immigration enforcement tactics that resulted in the deaths of two Americans.
- In her 2026 attorney general campaign, Guzmán Fralick worked to align herself with Trump, and said the first action she would take in office was to “stop suing our president.” Guzmán Fralick said she supported the actions Trump has taken in office so far, and said she believed Trump “knows way more than I do.”
- Guzmán Fralick also attempted to paint her Republican primary opponent, Danny Tarkanian, as a never-Trumper. Guzmán Fralick attacked Tarkanian using an op-ed he shared in 2024 titled, “I hate Trump, but I’m glad he won.” Guzmán Fralick said the post showed that Tarkanian, and anyone who supported him, hated Trump, which would hurt him in the primary because Trump was “extremely popular with our party.”
Message: Guzmán Fralick’s statements suggested she would submit to Trump over protecting Nevada.
