¶ Paxton Supported War In Iran Which Caused Skyrocketing Gas and Fertilizer Prices
- Paxton defended the war in Iran and claimed that he “absolutely” supported continuing the war, despite the war causing gas and fertilizer prices in Texas to skyrocket. The resulting price increases were hurting Texan families, organizations, and farmers.
Message: Paxton ignored Texans and blindly supported Trump’s war in Iran, which was raising gas and fertilizer prices, tightening Texas families’ and farmers’ pockets.
¶ Paxton Supported Damaging Tariffs
- Paxton defended damaging tariffs that were contributing to higher food prices, harming Texan farmers and hurting Texas’ economy.
Message: Paxton is siding with tariffs and is choosing higher prices over protecting affordability and Texan’s livelihoods.
¶ Paxton Supported Taking Food Assistance From Texans
- Paxton supported a bill that made the largest SNAP cut in history. Due in part to the cuts, SNAP enrollees in Texas dropped by 14 Percent.
Message: Paxton supported a bill that took away Texan’s ability to afford groceries to fund billionaire tax breaks.

- Paxton betrayed Texans by supporting a bill that was estimated to kick off nearly 300,000 Texans off their healthcare.
Message: Paxton supported a bill that slashed Texan’s healthcare to fund billionaire tax breaks.
¶ Paxton Supported Was An Anti-Abortion Extremist
- Ken Paxton is a radical anti-abortion extremist who knows no limits. Paxton celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade and increased his work to undermine maternal health care. Paxton petitioned the Texas Supreme Court to halt an abortion for a mother whose life and fetus were at risk and threatened her care providers with legal consequences. Under Ken Paxton, maternal death rates in Texas increased. Still, Paxton defends and supports Texas' abortion bans, even without exceptions for rape and incest.
Message: Paxton supported anti-abortion policies that put the lives of mothers and children at risk.
¶ Paxton Offered Plea Deals In Child Sex Crime Cases
- Paxton claimed he was Texas’ “top” law enforcement officer who combated human trafficking and sex crimes. However, his record does not reflect that. Paxton offered a one-day jail sentence to a man accused of child sexual abuse. In another case, he kept a man convicted of child sex trafficking off the sex offenders registry. Ken Paxton did not live up to his word to protect children from sex crimes.
Message: Paxton failed at being Texas' "top" law enforcement officer by letting child predators off with a slap on the wrist.
¶ Paxton Cheated On His Wife Multiple Times Leading To Divorce
- Attorney General Ken Paxton claimed that America’s moral and legal values originated with Christianity, but he cheated on his wife with two other women. His wife, Angela, filed for divorce on “biblical grounds.”
Message: How can Texan's trust that Paxton would uphold Texan values in Congress when he can't uphold his vows in his own home.
¶ Paxton Partied With Fugitives And His Mistress In Dubai
- Despite claiming that he had “gone after fraud” as Attorney General, Ken Paxton was caught partying in Dubai with two wanted fugitives. Paxton's associates, Anosh Ahmed and Sameer Suhail, fled the United States after federal prosecutors indicted them on healthcare fraud charges. Ahmed was charged with money laundering, wire fraud, and kickback conspiracy as part of a $900 million healthcare fraud scheme. Suhail faced embezzlement charges over a $15 million medical supply fraud scheme. Additionally, Paxton was accompanied by Trucy Duhon, one of the mistresses with whom he cheated on his wife, Angela Paxton.

¶ Paxton Was Impeached Due To A FBI Investigation And Whistleblower Lawsuit
- Paxton used his position as the Attorney General of Texas to benefit his associate, Nate Paul. Paxton used his power to interfere with the FBI’s investigation of Paul. Paxton’s employees accused him of improper influence, abuse of office, and bribery. Paxton then fired his accusers, which violated the Texas Whistleblower Act. Subsequently, the Texas House of Representatives impeached Ken Paxton for his various violations.
Message: Paxton's own party knows he is unfit for positions of power.
¶ Paxton Used His Position To Rule In Favor Of His Campaign Donors
- During his time as Attorney General of Texas and as a Senate candidate, Ken Paxton used his position to rule in favor of his campaign donors. On five separate instances, Paxton ruled in favor of organizations that donated thousands of dollars to his campaign. Paxton also avoided participating in lawsuits that would hurt his donors, such as the betting platform Kalshi. Additionally, Paxton threatened legal action against any entity that challenged Texas Tech Football after the Brendan Sorsby Incident, when the Board of Regents' head, Cody Campbell, donated $274,300 to Paxton's campaign.

However, the federal government terminated $382 million in funding for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, which was responsible for monitoring and responding to the New World Screwworm and preventing its spread to the United States. As of early June, the Screwworm, once eradicated, was found in Texas. Now Texas agriculture faces a billion-dollar disaster.

Additionally, Paxton violated his blind trust and made $2.2 million from WatchGuard.
