¶ How To Win Against Abe Hamadeh
Abe Hamadeh promised Arizona families he would fight for them, but his voting record tells a very different story. He voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which CBO estimated would cut $911 billion from Medicaid and leave 10.9 million more Americans uninsured — including more than 300,000 Arizonans — then falsely claimed the bill included "no cuts to Medicaid," a talking point PolitiFact rated as false.
The bill he voted for cut $187 billion from SNAP — the largest cut to food assistance in history — while CBO found it gives the richest 10% an extra $12,000 per year and takes $1,600 from the poorest 10%.
He voted against extending ACA premium subsidies as Arizona marketplace premiums surged 29–35%, leaving retired Scottsdale teachers facing premiums that quadrupled from $513 to $2219 per month. He defended tariffs that economists call a $2,600-per-year hidden tax on Arizona families.

- A 21% tariff on Mexican tomatoes could cause $3 billion in economic losses for Arizona, and gas prices rose 29 cents per gallon in the first month after tariff announcements.
- CBO found the bill Hamadeh voted for increases incomes for the wealthiest 10% by 2.7% while cutting incomes for the poorest 10% by 3.1%.

- Hamadeh claimed credit for TSMC's $100 billion Arizona investment, but the expansion was made possible by the bipartisan CHIPS Act and a $6.6 billion federal award finalized before Hamadeh took office.
- The bill he voted for cut $187 billion from SNAP and put 124,000 Arizona SNAP recipients at risk under new work requirements, even as Arizona food banks reported empty shelves.

¶ QUESTIONABLE CAMPAIGN FINANCING AND FAMILY MONEY
- Hamadeh's brother loaned the 2022 campaign $1 million, then took it back — but the repayment was not disclosed until after Hamadeh secured Trump's endorsement. Even Rep. Paul Gosar raised concerns it may have "misled" Trump.
- His brother then committed $1 million to a pro-Hamadeh Super PAC for the 2024 congressional race.
- Hamadeh obtained a $400,000 loan from an LLC created days earlier by his brother's business partner, which a campaign finance lawyer called "very strange."
- He raised 96% of campaign funds from outside his district and accepted donations from Chevron, BlackRock, and Altria PACs while branding himself as anti-establishment.

¶ ABORTION Extremist
- In 2022, Hamadeh pledged to enforce Arizona's near-total abortion ban as attorney general.
- Two years later, he dismissed the same ban as "a complete win for Democrats" and said its effects would not be "actually going to be that significant."
