Tom Tiffany built his career claiming to stand up for Wisconsin families but voted to cut services and raise costs on Wisconsinites. He voted to kick more than 258,000 Wisconsinites off their health insurance, for massive cuts to Medicare, and to make it harder for his neighbors to buy food. Tiffany cast the deciding vote to protect Trump’s tariffs, which were hurting small businesses and could result in higher food costs for Wisconsinites. Tiffany stood by while Trump laid off Wisconsinites and gutted the Social Security agency. He voted to cut clean energy tax credits that supported Wisconsin jobs and projects. Tom Tiffany posed a threat to Wisconsinite women's reproductive freedoms as he repeatedly voted against abortion protections. Despite previously voting against releasing the Epstein files, it took 11 months for Tom Tiffany to ultimately vote for the release of the Epstein files only because Trump approved of the release. Tom Tiffany also supported efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
¶ Tiffany Voted For Devastating Health Care Cuts
- In 2025, Tiffany voted for a bill that is estimated to kick 17 million Americans off their health insurance, including nearly 12 million Americans who rely on Medicaid. More than 258,000 Wisconsinites could lose their health insurance as a result of Tiffany’s vote.
- Tom Tiffany called the Affordable Care Act a “problem” despite having more than 313,000 Wisconsinites enrolled in Affordable Care Act Marketplace health insurance plans. By 2034, 148,254 Medicaid recipients in Wisconsin were expected to lose their coverage due to Tiffany’s support for Trump’s tax bill.

¶ Tiffany Voted For Massive Cuts To Medicare
- In 2025, Tiffany voted for a bill that the Congressional Budget Office estimated would trigger $500 billion in cuts to Medicare.

¶ Tiffany WAS THE DECIDING VOTE TO PROTECT TRUMP’S TARIFFS
- In 2025, Tiffany voted five times to protect Trump’s tariffs, including in April when he was the deciding vote to protect the tariffs from being repealed by Congress, dooming Wisconsinites who relied on him to a trade war and rising prices. Tariffs are contributing to higher food prices and are hurting Wisconsin small businesses and families.
- Despite this, Tiffany called Trump’s tariffs “fair trade” even while the U.S. stock market crashed during Trump’s escalating global trade war.
Message: Tom Tiffany was the deciding vote to crush Wisconsin small businesses and ensure Wisconsin will pay more for groceries.
¶ Tiffany Stripped SNAP Benefits From Wisconsin Families
- In 2025, Tiffany voted for a bill that made the largest cut to SNAP in history. In Wisconsin, more than 330,000 households relied on SNAP to afford groceries.
Message: Tom Tiffany voted to make food more expensive for Wisconsinites.
¶ Tiffany stood by while trump attacked social security and fired hard-working Wisconsinites
- In 2025, Tiffany praised Trump’s “Department of Government Efficiency” as DOGE-driven cuts and downsizing were affecting the federal government’s ability to deliver services to seniors. More than 1.36 million Wisconsinites relied on Social Security benefits.
- Tiffany promoted DOGE even though it resulted in federal funding cuts to Wisconsin and Trump threatened the livelihoods of 18,000 federal workers in Wisconsin.
Message: While Social Security lines grew and Wisconsin workers were laid off, Tom Tiffany did nothing to help them.
¶ Tiffany’s Votes Threatened Clean Energy Jobs In Wisconsin
- In 2025, Tiffany voted to repeal clean energy tax credits and make them harder to access, threatening clean energy jobs in Wisconsin. Tiffany co-sponsored legislation to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act, which would cut clean energy investments.
- Since the beginning of the Trump administration, clean energy projects that were projected to create hundreds of jobs in Wisconsin were cancelled.
- Tiffany had a long anti-environmental record. He had described the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as “radical,” earned a spot on the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters’ “dishonor roll,” and worked to weaken environmental protections and strip local communities of their authority.
Message: Tom Tiffany voted to kill job opportunities for Wisconsin to give tax cuts to billionaires.
¶ Tiffany Was An Anti-Abortion Extremist
- Although Tiffany tried to soften his tone on abortion before announcing his gubernatorial campaign, he was an anti-abortion extremist.
- In Congress, Tiffany repeatedly voted to strip Americans of their reproductive rights. Tiffany voted against codifying abortion protections in federal law. He voted against protecting out-of-state abortion services and protecting interstate movement of FDA-approved abortion drugs. Tiffany also voted against codifying the right to access contraception in federal law.
- Tiffany previously backed a six-week abortion ban without exceptions. Tiffany supported anti-abortion pregnancy centers that dissuaded women from accessing abortion care.
Message: Tom Tiffany threatened the reproductive freedoms of Wisconsinites.
¶ Tiffany Voted To Release The Epstein Files aFTER 11 mONTHS, Only Because Trump Finally Approved Of The Release
- It took Tiffany 11 months to vote for the release of the Epstein files, only after Trump told House Republicans he approved of the release.
- Tiffany touted his vote for the release of the Epstein files, blaming Democrats for the delay and claiming he supported transparency, but he never signed the discharge petition, never co-sponsored the legislation, and previously voted against the release of the files. In July and September 2025, Tom Tiffany cast the deciding votes against releasing the Epstein files, protecting the accused pedophiles named within them.
Message: Despite previously voting against releasing the Epstein files, Tom Tiffany ultimately voted for the release of the Epstein files only because Trump approved of the release.
¶ Tiffany Was an Election Denier
- Tiffany posed a threat to democracy due to his support of overturning the 2020 election and voting against the certification of Joe Biden’s victory. The Congressional Integrity Project named Tiffany as a key election denier connected to the January 6th insurrection.
