Tom Tiffany built his career claiming to stand up for Wisconsin families but voted to cut services and raise costs on Wisconsinites. He voted to kick more than 258,000 Wisconsinites off their health insurance, for massive cuts to Medicare, and to make it harder for his neighbors to buy food. Tiffany cast the deciding vote to protect Trump’s tariffs, which were hurting small businesses and could result in higher food costs for Wisconsinites. Tiffany stood by while Trump laid off Wisconsinites and gutted the Social Security agency. He voted to cut clean energy tax credits that supported Wisconsin jobs and projects. Tiffany also failed farmers and failed to pass year-round E15 in Congress, voting for a council instead of actually helping Wisconsin farmers. Tom Tiffany posed a threat to Wisconsinite women's reproductive freedoms as he repeatedly voted against abortion protections. Despite previously voting against releasing the Epstein files, it took 11 months for Tom Tiffany to ultimately vote for the release of the Epstein files only because Trump approved of the release. Tom Tiffany also supported efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Tom Tiffany, who was "honored" to receive Trump's endorsement, would leave Wisconsin vulnerable to Trump’s attacks. MAGA-endorsed Tom Tiffany is trying to rebrand as a mainstream Republican in his bid for governor, all while he continues to court the far-right fringe. Tiffany backed Trump’s war with Iran even as rising gas, grocery, fertilizer, and diesel costs squeezed Wisconsin families, farmers, and businesses across the state

Tom Tiffany supported Trump’s war with Iran and later admitted that rising gas prices during the war caused “a bit of a slump” in his gubernatorial polling. When confronted about higher gas prices and growing frustration with Trump, Tiffany dodged blaming Trump and said you would have to ask “the man on the street” why people were upset. Despite acknowledging those concerns, Tiffany later voted against a resolution directing the president to end U.S. military involvement in Iran without congressional authorization.
Trump’s war with Iran triggered one of the largest gas price increases in the country for Wisconsinites, with prices rising more than 68 percent after the conflict began. Experts also warned prices could continue rising through the summer and potentially reach record highs before Labor Day.
As Wisconsin families faced rising gas, grocery, and fertilizer costs during the Iran war, Tiffany dismissed “affordability” concerns as a “buzzword.” Experts warned the Iran war and rising fuel and fertilizer costs could increase grocery and beef prices across Wisconsin, making everyday costs even less affordable for Wisconsin families.
Wisconsin farmers and milk haulers also warned the Iran war drove up fuel and fertilizer costs and increased financial pressure across the state. Record diesel prices and rising fertilizer costs threatened farmers’ bottom lines during planting season.

Tiffany posed a threat to democracy due to his support of overturning the 2020 election and voting against the certification of Joe Biden’s victory. The Congressional Integrity Project named Tiffany as a key election denier connected to the January 6th insurrection.
Tiffany also repeated false claims that mail-in voting increased fraud and said “I don’t believe we should be doing mail-in voting.” Records showed that Tom Tiffany cast absentee ballots more than a dozen times since 2016, even while suggesting there was “rot” in the election system.

MAGA-endorsed Tom Tiffany is trying to rebrand as a mainstream Republican in his bid for governor, all while he continues to court the far-right fringe. On December 30, 2025, Tiffany appeared on “TheQuartering,” a podcast hosted by Jeremy Hambly, an internet personality with a documented history of antisemitic rhetoric and online harassment controversies.
TheQuartering founder and host Jeremy Hambly has previously said Hitler had “actually done some good things,” defended a shirt with “Camp Auschwitz” emblazoned on the front as “dark humor,” used antisemitic rhetoric and slurs, and told jokes making light of the Holocaust and Hitler.
In 2023, white nationalist publisher Antelope Hill Publishing sponsored Hambly’s TheQuartering. Antelope Hill Publishing celebrated Hitler’s birthday with annual discounts on books written by Hitler.
During the interview, Hambly offered to mobilize campaign support for Tiffany alongside Scott Presler, a prominent “Stop the Steal” activist. Hambly said, “I can bring Scott Presler out. We can doorknock for you.” Tiffany did not object or distance himself from the offer. Presler was a key figure in efforts to overturn the 2020 election and has helped amplify conspiracy-driven movements, including QAnon-aligned networks.
Message: Tom Tiffany’s appearance and silence reinforced a broader pattern of engaging with extremist figures while running for governor.
