Timothy Dunn, CEO Of Oil And Gas Exploration CrownQuest, Contributed $5 Million To Pro-Mike Rogers Super PAC Great Lakes Conservative Fund. According to the Detroit News, “Texan Timothy Dunn, the CEO of the oil and gas exploration company CrownQuest Operating, was the top donor so far this year to the Great Lakes Conservatives Fund, giving $5 million to the outside group supporting Republican Mike Rogers' bid for Michigan's open U.S. Senate seat. Dunn is a billionaire Republican megadonor whose oil and natural gas company is based in Midland, Texas. He gave the $5 million through two contributions dated in April and June, according to a report filed Thursday with the Federal Election Commission covering the first six months of the year. Dunn did not immediately respond Friday to a message seeking comment. The Great Lakes Conservatives Fund, the pro-Rogers super PAC that filed with the FEC under GLCF Inc., reported having raised just over $5 million total during the six months ending June 30, finishing with $4.89 million in cash reserves. It spent about $316,000 in that period on mostly consulting and legal services. The super PAC's other donors were out of New York City ― Michael Psaros of KPS Capital Partners ($50,000) and banker Albert Hegyi of First Financial USA ($25,000), according to the new FEC report.” [Detroit News, 8/1/25]
