She voted against the $35 insulin cap and called the Inflation Reduction Act "a complete scam" — even as it funded an $200 million expansion creating 850 jobs in Pueblo.
She voted against every major jobs bill of the Biden era, then shamelessly claimed credit for the funding they delivered, prompting Transportation Secretary Buttigieg to ask, "In what way do you believe that your support helped this project?" ¶ HEALTH CARE: VOTED FOR THE LARGEST MEDICAID CUTS IN HISTORY
Boebert voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill, which CBO projects will cause 11.8 million people to lose health insurance — including up to 230,000 Coloradans. Roughly 16% of her district relies on Medicaid, including nearly 45,000 children. Prowers Medical Center in Lamar is among six Colorado rural hospitals at risk of closure.
Voted against the $35 insulin cap and against the Inflation Reduction Act's Medicare drug price negotiation. Voted against the PACT Act for veterans exposed to burn pits, saying, "I'm not spending $600 billion forever."
A constituent told Boebert her son would die without Medicaid. Boebert responded by deflecting to transgender care.

Her own business — Shooters Grill — lost more than $600,000 over three years and she owed $20,000 in tax liens for failing to pay unemployment insurance on her workers.
Trump vetoed her own signature water project — a 130-mile pipeline for 50,000 people — and she could not persuade her own party to override it.
