- Since entering his race for Congress, Mitchell spent a lot of his time going to luncheons, galas, and fundraisers with Trump and his allies at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. His campaign also spent $77,000 at the Palm Beach club since December 2025. He also takes every opportunity to raise his profile by speaking at national conventions, like CPAC and AmericaFest, and meeting with national conservative figures who aren’t even from Iowa.

Isn't it? A better looking crowd to. So, Matt, thank you so much for the endorsement. Give a hand to the CPAC staff and to the board, please. So, my name is Joe Mitchell. I'm running for United States Congress in Iowa. And there's three things we're running on. Number one, I'm not taking any corporate PAC money. Okay. So that means no money from Pfizer. No money from BlackRock. No money from Wells Fargo. We don't need their money. We only need money from the people like yourself. The second thing is we got to have term limits.
