$1.5 Billion Appropriation For The Essential Air Service Over 5
Years. In July 2023, according to Congressional Quarterly, Fitzpatrick
voted against an amendment to the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership
in American Aviation Act, which would "strike language that would
authorize $1.5 billion over five years for the Essential Air Service."
The vote was on the adoption of an amendment. The House rejected the
