Quarterly, Fitzpatrick voted for the Transatlantic Telecommunications
Security Act, which would "direct the department to appoint a security
campaign director to lead efforts to promote candidates for elections at
the International Telecommunication Union who will defend democratic
values, internet freedom and telecommunication security." The vote was
on passage. The House passed the bill by a vote of 366-60, thus the bill
