March 2021, Fitzpatrick voted for the Stronger Child Abuse Prevention
and Treatment Act which would, according to Congressional Quarterly,
"authorize $40 million for fiscal 2022 and such sums as may be
necessary through fiscal 2027 for HHS activities to support adoption and
foster care programs." The vote was on passage. The House passed the
