For Continued Research And Development Of Advanced Naval Nuclear Fuel
Systems Based On Low-Enriched Uranium. In July 2022, according to
Congressional Quarterly, Fitzpatrick voted for en bloc amendments no. 2
to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, which
would, in part, "authorize $20 million in funding for the continued
research and development of advanced naval nuclear fuel systems based on
low-enriched uranium, with offsets." The vote was on the adoption of
amendments. The House adopted the amendments by a vote 330-99. [House
