Therefore, God defines marriage, not government. God’s truth about sexuality and marriage is deeply and clearly rooted in Scripture. Unfortunately, many distortions of marriage exist in our society. God’s design for sexuality and marriage is best for human flourishing as an individual and a society, and government should seek to promote human flourishing. Wisconsin Family Action advances policies that protect the right of Americans to freely exercise their faith and promotes the integrity of marriage.
