During an investigation into elections in Carver County, Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon testified that two Nevada residents attempted to submit fraudulent voter registrations, but asserted there was no evidence of fraudulent votes. Still, Schutz criticized Democrats’ “lack of accountability,” which he claimed led to voter fraud in Carver County.
Additionally Schutz pledged to make “secure elections” a main priority of his campaign, and said he would prosecute noncitizens that attempt to vote in Minnesota elections.
December 2025: Schutz Shared Elon Musk’s Suggestion There Was Voter Fraud In Minnesota. According to Schutz’s Twitter, Schutz retweeted Elon Musk’s tweet, “True Quote Joel Berry @JoelWBerry If the welfare fraud in Minnesota is this bad, imagine how bad the voter fraud is.”

October 2025: Schutz Said Democrats’ “Lack Of Accountability” Caused “Voter Fraud In Carver County.” According to Schutz’s Facebook, “Democrats have a habit of doubling down when the system fails and their leadership is called into question. The lack of accountability has resulted in billions lost in fraud and now voter fraud in Carver County. We must tackle issues head-on and fix the system so it works better for everyone.”
